New Profiles At Last!
Yes! We have some new profiles at last. I've finally gotten a little bit out of my coding rut and made some new profiles and actually finished what I said I was going to finish (heheh.)

But before I get to that, I would like to say that you can feel free to comment back to our news posts again. So far I haven't had any problem with the spammers so they are open again.

And Now, on to the profiles!

My Little Butterfly (Remix) - Saiyuki
If some of you have been around since last October when UM finally got up and running or if you have been dedicated enough to look through the dozens of pages of profiles we have, you might have noticed an older profile I've made called My Little Butterfly. Well...let's just say it wasn't my best work since it was also the second profile I've ever made. Going back and looking at how crappy it looked, I've decided to completely remake it better then ever! From that My Little Butterfly Remix was born! Go love and enjoy it!

Burn My Dread - Persona 3
If you've never played Persona 3, I suggest you get it. Best kick ass game I've ever seen and painfully addicting. As a result, I made a profile inspirited by it. This profile was actually the longest profile I've ever worked on (or it just felt that way) since I remade it once over and it look a while before I was finally happy with it. Thankfully it's one of my most favorites now. <3

Royal Bloody Flush
I got commissioned to make a "Joker Fan" profile last month. The client wasn't happy with my original design which was purple and red and as a result I had to remake it for them in gray (good thing I didn't already code it). I did keep the file and the code and remade it in the orignal purple and red as well as changed a few things such as the text and Royal Bloody Flush was born. An epic win for people who love The Joker and a little blood.

*pants* Well that's all for now. I'm not sure what my next ideas will be but stay tune and look for updates on this site. Some New Profiles and Issues I need to take care of...
I'm sorry to say that I've had to disable news comments on account that someone has been spamming us with 1000+ useless advertising comments in our news posts. If you would like to make a suggestion please use the shout box or feel free to contact me on Gaia. I'm sorry that this had to happen and I may even have to delete some of the old news because of it. >.<

EDIT: After doing some IP banning, I'm going to turn the commenting back on but I WILL be keeping a CLOSE EYE ON IT and banning any spamming IP addresses.

Anywho, I do have some new profiles for you. They've been up here for a little while already but I figured I should update the news. I've been coding very slowly lately or hardly at all just because I've been lazy over the summer or just working on commissions, moding guilds or playing Persona 3 for playstaion 2. <3

Ok...where was I? Oh yeah...

Schwarze Sonne (Black Sun)
An abstract, eclipse profile I made while playing around with some tutorials. Truly one of my favorite, non-anime profiles. Loosely inspired by an E-nomine song of the same title I have. I hope to make more abstract profiles like this in the future.


VOCALOID2 - Kagamine Rin/Len
I got on a VOCALOID2 hight around the time I made this profile (I know you can tell can't you?) so I made a profile of the much loved Rin and Len Kagamine, digital singers of the new age. Hopefully a Miku (or whatever her name is) profile coming sometimes in the future.

Other Projects
I've decided to redo the second profile I've ever made "Saiyuki: My Little Butterfly." For some reason, tektek didn't like it and it hasn't been one of my most popular profiles so I shall do it again!

I also have a "Joker" inspired profile that I made as a commission that I would like to edit a little and put out for all of you too love. I plan on calling it "Royal Bloody Flush" so that might be interesting for all you batman fans.

Well, I am back and glad to see some of the other staff is as well. Haven't been on in so long because I have been moving around and have had no internet. I have settled down now in Florida for an unknown period of time and will start working on some profiles ASAP.

Wasn't on to see the problem with CuteNews but I do see the problem with the PHP. Unfortunately, I too, have little experience with PHP. As I talk to Mel quite frequently, or used to rather, I will contact her for her advice. I am glad to see that she is still paying for the site to be hosted though. Well, until I release some more profiles, I would like to bid you all farewell.

By the way, I think the first profiles I will work on will include s-CRY-ed, Code Geass (Just got into it and think it is awesome), maybe a God of War, Ninja Gaiden, and possibly another Naruto, and definitely a Kenshin theme.

Back Up and Running for the Most Part.
I'm glad to announce that cute news is back up and seems to be running...for the most part....

Some how, some files got corrupted or someone went in and delete some stuff (I'm not blaming anyone mind you) but some strange stuff was going on. Me, not being a php expert, had to seek some help from the CuteNews forum and finally found the problem, downloaded Cutenews myself, and replayed the troubled file.

Another problem was that we had too many active news that needed to be archived. That seems to have helped also.

However, for some reason our footer won't work with Cutenews anymore, making the footer disappear and as a result, throwing some of our layout on the front page off a tad. Thankfully, this isn't a pressing issue and I'm not going to worry about it until I can get a hold of Mel to fix it. (Because I really have no idea how to *sweat drop).

Feel free to update again staff! I will also be making some more content updates myself when I get the time to do it or feel like it. :3
